Midwest Social Media Summit
I’m honored to accept a 2013 SoMe Impact Award at Landerhaven on November 21, 2013. SBN Interactive has produced one of the regions best opportunities for marketing professionals to learn from marketing luminaries from all over the country. This is the third year of the Midwest Social Media Summit and I have attended each year as it’s become bigger and better. This year, a number of regional marketing pros were nominated for the first year of an award celebrating those who are using social media in creative ways.
I was nominated under the “Emerging” category for Rock The House’s efforts as a small business. My submission highlighted my campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Vine from 2012 including our ISES WOW award for Marketing as well as the CBC Magazine Connector’s Choice Award for Networking. Our marketing efforts were recognized in a big way in 2013 and it’s raised the bar for our efforts in the future.
